INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING

Individual counselling for youth & adults seeking support with stress, burnout, identity exploration, life transitions, and mental health concerns. Sessions are grounded in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally responsive approaches, with an emphasis on collaboration and honoring lived experience. Youth 13+ yrs - adult.

COUPLES, PARENT & CHILD/FAMILY COUNSELLING

Couples counselling for neurodivergent and/or BIPOC partnerships offers an affirming, culturally responsive space to strengthen connection, improve communication, and navigate complexities in relationships while honouring lived experience and identity.

Counselling support for parent/caregivers and their child is offered through a family systems, affirming, solution focused approach. Expertise with supporting families of neurodivergent and/or medically complex children and youth.

PARENT/CAREGIVER COUNSELLING (w/CONSULTATION)

Parent/caregiver counselling offers a space to process emotional load, navigate uncertainty, reduce isolation, and build resilience, while centering the realities of caregiving within complex systems. Psychosocial consultation compliments this therapeutic support by helping navigate complex healthcare, educational, and community systems. This may include care coordination support, referral guidance, and reducing barriers to access.

WORKSHOPS & TRAINING

Thoughtfully designed psychoeducational workshops and training for educational settings, workplaces, and community organizations. Topics include mental health, neurodiversity-affirming practices, inclusion, cultural competency, and caregiver support. Sessions are practical, reflective, and tailored to the needs of each organization, supporting meaningful shifts in understanding, practice, and culture. Note: These services are educational in nature and may not be eligible for extended health reimbursement

Payment is accepted via major credit cards and Interac e-Transfer.

Financial Supports:

Extended Health Coverage: Counselling services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) are often covered under extended health benefit plans. Coverage varies by provider. Clients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their insurance company. Receipts are provided for reimbursement purposes.

Autism Funding Program: The Province of British Columbia offers autism funding through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) to help families with the cost of eligible autism-related services for children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Under Age 6 & Ages 6-18 funding allows for Family counselling and therapy to be considered an eligible expense under both funding streams and can be paid for via autism funding for Registered Social Workers (RSW)

Clinical services provided by Registered Social Workers may be claimed as a medical expense for income tax purposes. Registered Social Workers providing clinical social work services are GST-exempt when provided as services within a direct professional–client relationship.
